Job Description:

- Handling Due Diligences of Listed Companies

- Advising on the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 and Foreign Exchange Management Regulations.

- Getting approvals for establishment of Branch and Liaison offices of Foreign Companies from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and advising clients on the Regulations under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).

- Detailed review of organization(s) under Companies Act, 2013 and related rules thereto along with the dynamic changes happening in Securities law sphere

- Advising Companies in relation to Service Tax issues.

- Handling queries of the clients related to Foreign Exchange Transactions.

- Handling Litigation & Representations.

- Research work for various queries of clients and for executing other assignments.

- Acting as consultant & professional advisor on various matte rs related to FEMA 1999.

- Handling clients for retainership services for executing their compliances under Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (- FEMA, 1999- )

- Opening & closure of offices (Branch, liaison & project office) in India.

- Managing overall compliances for client companies and rendering advisory on issues under company law and foreign exchange matters.

- Undertaken research and provided advice on matters related to setting up of branch office in India, external commercial borrowings, FDI, FCRA, ESOPs, Corporate Governance norms as per LODR and Companies Act, 2013 and other general company law matters. Also, assisted in corporate due diligence
