Our Client is a Bangalore based NGO which focusses on Livelihoods, skill development etc Position: Sr Manager Communications Reporting to : Director Location: Bangalore Roles & Responsibilities : - Work closely with the internal stakeholders and external partners, agencies etc. to plan the communications strategy on-line and off-line communication and create a detailed roadmap for calendar activities. - Design and implement strategic communication initiatives that include print, digital and social media channels and niche communications to increase the visibility and amplify the organisation's progress towards vision and mission. - Work with senior management to determine the areas where the organisation can impact the regional and international dialogue on Equity, Climate and Gender narratives through the development and publication of materials, and participation in public events. - Actively engage, cultivate and manage press relationships to secure coverage surrounding the launch of programmes, special events, projects and innovations across national and select global media agencies. - Champion communications throughout the organisation to ensure that communication considerations form an integral part of policy-making, project designs, visits and tours by buyers and funding partners.
