Senior Manager - Commercial - Media

Responsibilities:

- Commercial

Leading all India Operations of Commercial function of Retail Physical Business

Sales & Purchase Accounting: Invoicing, Collections, Working capital management, Reconciliation and Reports

SOPs on Sales Accounting and Receivable management

Debtors Management; Reconciliation of accounts for E-commerce, Retail and Modern trade accounts.

Credit controls on working capital and keep constant follow up with sales teams on Debtors for recovery of overdue outstanding

Ensure strict compliances on inventory & Receivables ageing, days.

Processing Trade claims, keeping control on Business Promotions like Trade Discounts, Trade Promotions scheme & Sales contests.

Warehouse management and Logistics co-ordination with various locations for smooth operations

- Budgeting & MIS:

MIS and Budgeting preparing MIS on monthly basis, preparation of Budget and monitoring Budget vs. Actuals and highlighting reasons for Variance

Provide financial and commercial evaluation of new products and put forward recommendations.

Financial analysis of Margins and compared with Budgets

- Statutory Compliance

Thorough knowledge on Indirect taxation like Service Tax, VAT (now GST) including filing of returns, assessments

State wise compliance requirements

Audit coordination - Internal & external

- Candidate should have at least 10 -12 years of relevant experience in Commercial, Business accounting & MIS function preferably from Retail / FMCG / E-commerce / Consumer Electronics / Durable Industry

- Deep understanding of Commercial and Sales accounting, Pricing and margin structure, AR & AP, Imports, Taxation & Statutory compliances

- High standards of precision and accuracy on numbers and analysis of data.

- Should have knowledge on managing finance and accounting function of a reputed company.

- Should have excellent analytical skills and ability to proactively take up and resolve challenging situations.

- Candidate should have good communication skills and must be proficient in MS office and SAP accounting software.

- Demonstrated ability to work in a team keeping cordial relationship with all departments.

The candidate should be flexible to work extra hours during exigencies.

- Experience of handling complex and diversified businesses.

- Experience in leading committed and dedicated team.

- Knowledge on Legal Metrology, Weights and Measures act will be preferred.
