Senior Manager - Cloud Architecture - General Insurance

Responsibilities

- Design of the overall cloud architecture with a focus on AWS/Azure

- Creation & Delivery of organizations cloud strategies, aligned to customers business objectives and demonstrate technical cloud knowledge

- Ensure high availability of systems and create an effective DR strategy

- Cost optimization and effective utilization of cloud infrastructure and services

- Overseeing the process of choosing build or buy technology solutions

- Nurture cloud computing expertise internally and externally to drive cloud adoption

- Ensure seamless migration of on premise applications to the cloud

- Ensure seamless integration between cloud and on premise applications

- Optimization of applications for maximum speed and scalability

- Conduct post execution reviews to ensure effectiveness

Skills and Qualifications

- Graduate/Post Graduate in any stream

- 12 or more years of IT experience with minimum of 5 year experience as a cloud consultant/cloud solution architect

- Strong understanding across Cloud and infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and applications)

- Good understanding on project management

- AWS/Azure certification is a must.

- Prior experience in BFSI industry will be preferred

- Good communication & interpersonal skills
