About This Role:
The key responsibilities include:
- Coordination and ownership of Sales & Service support processes required for Institutional client management (HK & cross border UK)
- The role holder will play a key role in production and distribution of client reports and investment review meeting materials to support Institutional client management processes
- Assist in account opening process and client mapping/tracking.
- Provide regular reporting on client engagement
- Working with both HK & UK Client Operations look to improve the service and support and improve efficiency
- Understand and map client requirements, work with internal teams to deliver accurately and on time
- Build strong understanding of internal relationships across Client Propositions, Client Service, Product, Investments
- Actively suggest ideas for improvements and enhancements to improve platform delivery
What you'll do:
Accountabilities for Business, Customers and Stakeholders
INTERNAL
- Provide project management and analytical support on initiatives. Liaise between AMHK and AMEU Client Operations
- Key contact for client business team in HK and UK for the assigned tasks.
- Identify and implement improvements on processing control, quality and efficiency.
- Comply with AM FIM and regulatory requirements.
- Establish a positive relationship with stakeholders and customers
- Deliver timely and accurate MI as required
- Drive customer service centric approach
Leadership & Teamwork
- Engage with teams in HK & UK and align to vision, values and goals to contribute to an inclusive, high performing, customer-centered culture.
- Share best practice and support team members to ensure they maximize their performance and collective goals are achieved
- Be a constructive member of the broader Client Business team proactively contributing but also challenging actions and behaviors that are not consistent and/or the best interests of the business and its customers
Operational Effectiveness & Control:
- Identify and implement improvements by collaborating with colleagues to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
- Maintain a robust and efficient control environment to ensure good operational and project management.
- Endeavour to identify and resolve or escalate issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and requirements.
- Ensure compliance group & AM's policies and control procedures.
Qualifications - External
What you will need to succeed in the role:
- 5+ years of asset management experience, preferably within Institutional client service.
- An advanced degree in Finance, Business Management or related field.
- Ability to work autonomously while developing a network throughout the business to facilitate execution
- Strong understanding of risk management and executing within a global framework
- Ability to build rapport and be confident in managing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Fluent English, Chinese speaking skills a plus.
- Good presentation skills.
- Adaptable and self- motivated to deliver business requirements accurately and within agreed timeframes.
