Qualification - minimum 10 papers cleared

Experience:

- 5-8 years of core actuarial experience of working with an Indian Life Insurance Company or consulting (with Indian life insurance as a client).

- (Desired) Prophet modelling experience.

Job Description:

As the Manager of Actuarial Valuation, your primary responsibilities will include:

- Conducting monthly valuations for both individual and group policies, and preparing comprehensive reports for distribution to various stakeholders.

- Overseeing the annual submission of key reports such as AAAR (Appointed Actuary's Annual Report), ARA (Actuarial Review and Analysis), FCR (Fundamental Review of the Capital) report, and other relevant reports as required.

- Generating ad-hoc reports to meet internal and regulatory requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

- Providing support in the preparation of peer review submissions and contributing to the development of Board-related documents.

- Collaborating on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the Prophet system, specifically for new product implementations and modifications to existing products.

- Timely and accurate computation of actuarial deliverables Reserve/Solvency/EV/VoNB/adhoc.

- Managing team members for performing and checking Prophet runs, carrying out Prophet model testing, assumption table update etc.

- Responsible for working on ad-hoc queries and requests coming from various stakeholders
