Sr Manager - Category Management
Summary :
Looking for Candidates with Category Management Experience, having a vast understanding about the Potential & Existing Customers, So that they have an unparalleled shopping experience. Creating new business plans, opportunities and develop and execute project plans and launch new features, incorporating new features and pricing strategies.

Responsibilities :
The successful Category Manager must be able to:
- Manage a small, high performing team and lead multiple categories within India Business
- Act as the business owner for his or her categories, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact our business (this entails owning forecasting, monitoring, understanding and reporting on the category, along with responsibility for driving strategic projects and promotions to achieve business objectives)
- Have a thorough understanding of the industry, seasonality and global trends/events, and continually monitor competitor/industry developments
- Maximize long-term business profitability
- Have a complete understanding of the customer needs, both existing and potential, and use that knowledge to deliver site features that provide customers with an unparalleled shopping experience
- Manage seller relationships - manage supplier/partner contracts, manage day-to-day relationships, and negotiate and secure marketing funds
- Create business plans for new opportunities and develop and execute project plans for the launch of new features, incorporating merchandising and pricing strategies
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external parties, while meeting tight deadlines
- Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets
Basic Qualifications :
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive results
- Strong business judgment with a track record of successful negotiations and overall relationship management.
- Ability to think strategically and tactically, with excellent attention to detail
- Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Proven analytical thinking, project management skills, attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills are essential
- Bachelor's degree is required with Masters preferred
