JOB OBJECTIVE: The role is responsible for managing franchise bottlers. This involves identifying profitable business opportunities in the assigned geographical area, designing and implementing suitable marketing initiatives and ensuring standards of market execution. A crucial aspect of this role is building bottler organization capability. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : ESSENTIAL: Advanced degree beyond graduate level education in a university or equivalent DESIRED: MBA from a Premier B School MINIMUM RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 7 -12 years required; Experience in Sales &amp; Distribution, Marketing desired. LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS : Written &amp; oral knowledge of English. Knowledge of Telegu will be an added advantage. INTERNAL CUSTOMERS: FBO - Finance, Marketing, Technical, Division Marketing, PAC, Coca-cola University EXTERNAL CUSTOMERS: Bottling Partners, Key members of the bottling organization, Merchandizing vendors, Local Government authorities TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 30 - 50% KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS - Build a profitable partnership with franchise bottlers based on mutually beneficial goals and objectives - Ensure joint development of 3 year strategic plans and Annual Business plan - Drive and achieve stipulated volumes and market share to gain over competition - Act as the company representative at the bottler location to guide on company directives - Drive and achieve stipulated category wise volumes and market share to gain over competition - 6 Accountable for joint planning and implementation of relevant marketing initiatives with the bottler to maximize sales and drive revenues - Ensure bottler compliance to company best practice guidelines in the area of product, package and promotion whilst implementing marketing strategies - Build strong partnerships with the National key accounts in the franchise and ensure development &amp; execution of marketing plans &amp; promotions. Monitor &amp; ensure timely reconciliation of accounts of NKA &amp; bottler - Monitor shopper marketing and trade marketing (DME / DFR) spends, maintain controls on all financial parameters and ensure compliance of company directives - Communicate with consumer marketing and region marketing to ensure total system alignment on development and execution of marketing plans, products, programs and services - Continuously review and monitor Right Execution Daily (RED) scores, analyze gaps and ensure bottler undertakes corrective action to improve the same - Achieve stipulated quality targets as defined by The Coca-Cola Quality System (TCCQS) for the bottler - Analyze quality scores by using methods such as root cause analysis, identify gaps and jointly develop corrective action plans against deviations. - Build Bottler organization capability in order to deliver business requirements of Coca-Cola by partnering with CCU - Influence the bottler to partner Coca-Cola in adhering to environmental protection standards and acquiring a 'social license' JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES: - Channel Knowledge and understanding of best practices in sales and distribution - Shopper marketing/ Trade Marketing and Market Execution - Awareness of the Coca Cola Quality System - Bottler Operations - Financial Analysis - Key Account Management - Market &amp; Competitive Intelligence - Regulatory and Legal Knowledge - Business Planning and opportunity mapping - Sales &amp; Marketing Strategy KEY MEASURES OF SUCCESS - Volume and Revenue Targets - Bottling Scorecard/ Bottler alignment index - Market Share &amp; Distribution targets - Bottling organization capability building - Right Execution Daily (RED) scores - Quality Index and Clearance of Quality, Safety &amp; Environment audits
