Position: Senior Manager - Business Excellence
Hierarchy: Reporting to Sr VP - Operations. Will have 5-6 mid-level managers reporting to this position
Role:
- Oversee Business Excellence (BE) team which comprises of Process Improvement (PI), Analytics teams, MIS & Transitions
- Guide the small group of highly qualified, certified process consultants in PI
- Build improvement culture and drive Innovation and process improvement initiatives in the organization across locations / Business Units
- Collaborate with global business transformation consultants hired by corporate/onshore partners and guide PI consultants to provide business and process solutions
- Work with Senior Management on strategic plan
- Guide Operations and PI team to ensure the quality of service delivery is above SLA and is being continuously improved
- Guide Analytics & Research teams in leveraging operations and business data in their assignments, and derive useful insights for AJG
- Identify special talent (software programming, process expertise) that can be groomed and leveraged by the whole organization.
- Create and deliver organization wide dashboard to help track progress on business metrics and goals
- Partner with onshore client and operations to ensure seamless migration of work from parent locations to India by leveraging transition methodology and technology
Experience:
- Minimum 12 years of overall experience in IT or KPO industry
- Minimum 5 years in a Business Excellence or Process Excellence or Management Consultant role including at least 2 years in a Managerial capacity
- Should have done couple of large size business transformation consulting assignments for global customers
- Should have led or been part of change management initiative in a medium to large size organization
- As a Principal / Senior consultant should have a led team of consultants
Key Skillsets / Competencies:
- Must be entrepreneurial and hands-on, looking to thrive in a young company, in which he/she can play a leadership role
- Analytical capability
- Comfortable working across levels and functions of the organization - Business / Ops strategy with the CEO, Business Transformation initiatives with Business Unit Heads and Clients, Process Re-engineering activities with Operations Managers.
- Demonstrated capability in high end Analytics and Metrics
- Very good Presentation, Negotiation, communication and Mentoring skills
- Demonstrated capability in adopting software applications or workflows or technology for operations and business needs.
Academics:
- Preferably Bachelor of Engineering from a reputed college or Bachelor degree with very good academic credentials.
- Preferably a full time Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Preferred Certifications:
- Six Sigma Black belt from American Society of Quality (ASQ) or any other reputed organizations like GE
Preferred Industries/companies:
- Insurance Sector
- Management Consulting
- Solution design team in Software Services companies
- Non Voice BPO or KPO servicing International clientele
Location:
- Bangalore or Pune. Be open to regular travel to the other location ( Pune or Bangalore)
- Must be able and willing to travel internationally as requried for client projects (typically 2 to 4 weeks)
