Senior Manager - Business Development (IC Role) - Technology Services &amp; Solutions Co. ABOUT THE CO. : A mid-sized software solutions &amp; services co. with strengths in enterprise applications, digital solutions, high-end computing and cloud offerings. Has over 15 offices spread across North America, India, Latin America. Focuses on enterprise, followed by Govt. customers. THE JOB : The Senior Manager will be responsible for individually developing new business in the enterprise as well as public/govt. sector in India by self driving: - Identification of suitable prospects for the co. by researching and developing a comprehensive client database - Cold-calling/demand generation - Opportunity qualification - Deciding on suitable account penetration strategy in collaboration with senior management/business &amp; practice teams - Meeting customers - Developing proposals/bids in coordination with technical, business &amp; bid-management/pre-sales teams - Winning business, and - Realizing revenues IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE : - Full-time MBA and/or Engineering qualification - Overall exp. of 8 - 10 years, most of it being in sales (hunting) of technology services/solutions, focused on customers in the pvt. as well public/govt. space - Playing an individual contributor in current/last assignment, handling new business quota of around INR 50 million - Extensively travels all over India, especially in the major metro cities - Superb at engaging with CIOs/Technology Leaders/CXOs/Bureaucrats/Administrative Officers at client organizations w.r.t. being a partner of trust for the latter's business success through technology adoption/transformation. Equally good at engaging with mid &amp; junior staff at such prospect organizations for operational engagement - Understands technology and user needs and can translate business requirements into likely solutions for customers - Strong at writing proposals and developing custom content for taking the co. to prospects and partners - Microsoft tools/products experience (as a sales pro) will be preferred, not mandatory though IMPORTANT NOTES FOR INTERESTED CANDIDATES : - Only IT (Software) experience will be considered i.e. no other technical sales exp. will do - Please apply only if you are based out of Delhi-NCR and willing to work in Noida.
