Illumine is looking for a motivated and talented Business Development Manager to join our growing team. We're looking for an energetic, tech-savvy Business development executive to join our fast-growing team. As part of the Illumine sales team, you will become a subject matter expert and advise new clients on sales best practices, technology, and processes. Prior experience in selling SAAS software is a must.

Responsibilities:

- Able to conduct online demos with prospective customers.

- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for the next steps.

- Utilize cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities.

- Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities

- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.

- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.

- Understand customer needs and requirements.

- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.

- Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest

- Maintain and expand your database of prospects.

- Able to build lead pipelines and close deals.

- Schedule and organize meetings and calls with prospective customers on behalf of the Sales Team.

- Generate leads while representing Illumine ensuring the sales process remains in line with our five core values, and that we put customers first.

- Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM

- Consistently achieve a monthly quota of qualified opportunities.

We are looking for someone who has:

- 3-6 years experience in a Sales role and are eager to learn to become a great seller.

- Active on LinkedIn.

- Strong understanding of Sales and lead development best practices

- Proven ability to perform successfully given low oversight and limited process

- 100% reliable and detail-oriented. A drive to execute flawlessly.

- A positive can-do attitude and tireless work ethic. Driven and self-sufficient.

- Must live and breathe startups with broad responsibilities, crazy busy, dynamic environment, lots of responsibility, and lots of fun

- Proven inside sales experience

- Track record of over-achieving sales targets

- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day

- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools

- Experience working with HubSpot.com or similar CRM

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills

- Strong negotiation and presentation skills

- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
