Sr Manager Business Development(IFMS & Commercial Food Catering) with a leading Conglomerate, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Designation: Sr Manager Business Development (Commercial Food Catering)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reporting:Group CFO &Executive Director / Group CEO

Whom we are looking for:

- A graduate with management qualifications & certifications from Hospitality Institutes preferably

- Must have good understanding of IFMS & Commercial Food Catering Services

- Should have experience in dealing business in Private & Public sector

- Must have good track records of Sales & Business development

- Strong influencing and communication skills.

- Strong financial acumen, ability to manage profitable contracts and implement corrective measures for loss making contracts.

- Proposing and gaining agreement for tender submissions that cover the needs and expectations of all internal and external stakeholders

- IT and computer literate and hands on in use of Power Point professional presentations with use of graphs, pivot table etc.

- Should be strong in Sales Commercials & able to follow up and escalate challenging collections to the relevant client's team.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills at senior management / executive level

- Must have UAE driving license

Duties & Responsibilities:

- You shall establish a plan to market our Food Services business activities to secure new Service Contracts and generate sales revenue, within the given guidelines, time frame and agreed budget.

- Support the Business Head in the development and ownership of prospecting opportunities in alignment with stated segment sales strategy

- Develop senior prospect relationships so as to proactively influence the target client associated with the companies proposition / value

- Facilitate and support the growth of the business by generating pipeline opportunities to achieve the sales and gross profit targets for companies business and converting pipeline opportunities into successful sales bids.

- You should conduct extensive market research and competitor mapping activities, leading to future strategies, identification of opportunities and programs that could be introduced. You should contribute extensively towards devising the complete Annual Business plan & achieve the objectives set for sales volume, market share.

- Target top 30 territory prospects regularly, network with the business community and other companies sellers, build and maintain pipeline opportunities, convert sales tenders to actual sales, achieve individual targets in the financial year.

- Ensure that all target prospects, existing clients and tender opportunities are qualified for building long term growth for the company

- Ensure high quality, creative and innovative tender documentation is submitted to clients.

- Develop creative and innovative proposals and presentations, using appropriate resources, ensure that parties from the business are fully briefed.

- Create appropriate lead with innovative ideas and support the business with major re-tenders and organic growth bids, and become involved in activity to grow the business through added-value sales e.g. branded solutions.

- Gather competitor information, share best practice, conduct own market research on territory, and keep abreast of market trends.

- Highlight mobilization expertise, and post-sales support activity, fully brief mobilization team on all aspects of the contract terms and conditions.

- Create and manage account strategy plans for major prospects.

- Work with the bid team to provide solution support to high value, complex bids where appropriate

- You shall assist the Operations Team during mobilization of all new business projects and units and hand hold them for at least one week till everything is streamlined.

- Be in constant contact with clients and conduct regular business reviews after mobilization.

- Motivate team and self to achieve sales targets, contribute to team targets and sponsor team approach to winning business and re-tenders.

- To support the Sales process need to develop managers as well.

- Understand and adhere to company standard on hygiene health and safety compliance within tenders including risk assessments, certification, audits, manuals, training and updates and use to demonstrate added value to sales.

- Negotiate company contractual terms, ensure contract details are understood and accepted by clients and operations, negotiate and secure signature on contract prior to completion of the sale, identify economic buyer early on in sales process to avoid wasted sales time, ensure relevant authorization from operations and commercial departments on all sales tenders.

- Ensure that service level agreements are agreed and understood by all parties &all new business contracts achieve revenue and profitability targets and support the objectives of company.

- Review all relevant details are presented, and keep up to date, sales database according to assigned territory and sales activity,

- Sales reports are presented accurately, and ensure contact details are included for all appointments.

- Introduce & promote Company activities between the international contractors and multinational companies to secure new business in UAE Market.

- You shall develop good working / business relations with existing clientele to improve & secure additional trading business, referral business.

- You shall address all communications on day to day basis and carryout all internal & external written communication with operations and with clients independently.

- You will be responsible for preparing costing, P&L / proposals for the new projects and timely submission of proposals in response to tenders / client enquiries.

- You shall coordinate with Sr Team Members (Operations& Accounts), finalize the Service agreements for all new businesses.

- You will be responsible and accountable to create market for outdoor catering events / parties for our brands.

- You will be responsible for preparing and timely submission of MIS reports to the Management
