Senior Manager - Business Development - Aviation

Summary:

The business development manager is responsible for developing and implementing campaign and capture plans to secure new business for the company's avionics products. The incumbent shall uphold the mission and values established by the organization, acting as an ambassador of the company, an advocate for growth, and the voice of the customer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but not limited to, as other duties may be assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement campaigns to capture new customers and market segments for the company's avionics product segments.

2. Manage and maintain strategic customer relationships and continuation business.

3. Assist in or produce feasibility studies and business plans for new product development.

4. Develop complex technical and commercial proposals in response to customer requests.

5. Strategically negotiate contracts including pricing.

6. Perform market research and analysis.

7. Support the implementation of the strategic plan.

8. Demonstrate knowledge of and support mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior.

9. Safety Responsibilities - Expected to follow organization safety policy & procedures. Shall be held accountable for emphasizing safety and participating in safety meetings, eliminating safety hazards within the company
