Position Title : Senior Manager
Department : Prime Brokerage Services
Position reporting to : Head of Sales
Job Purpose :
Business Development in the Domestic space with regards to all Prime Brokerage products like Clearing, Custody, Settlements, LAS, LAPS, Distribution etc. Establish our services in the target market as most responsive, customer friendly, flexible & make our mark in the different geographies we operate.
Managerial Responsibilities :
Take the whole domestic team together while discussion on strategies, existing products, new product developments, competition mapping & other related issues. Also need to take views on new client on-boarding and geographical strategies.
Functional Responsibilities :
Clearing Business - Addition of new Clearing Accounts, with specific focus on SCMs, New members in different segments & TMs with smaller CMs. Specific focus on exclusive accounts by offering special structures. Specific focus on 20x20 structure accounts
Funding Business - Focus on the funding business with new clients to be introduced and focus on increasing drawdown from existing accounts.
Client Retention & Servicing - To manage all accounts across all product sets. Coordination with CM Team, Resource Ops, PB Ops, Legal & Compliance divisions. Liasioning with GRG/ Risk & CM Teams for daily limit setting exercise
Understanding exact requirements of the member & delivering services asper their satisfaction
Risk Management & Compliance - Complete Coordination with CM Team, GRG & PB Ops team to ensure no discrepancies. Risk Management of TMs positions in conjunction with CM & GRG Teams.
Competition mapping & Business Intelligence - keep a Tab on new businesses of the competition & why we were not able to do it. Doing an introspection on the same.
Track new developments in Banks/ SEBI / Exchanges & provide TMs with necessary market intelligence. Discuss the same with CM & GRG & Business teams for overall service enhancement.
Qualifications :
MBA//CA/ICWA
Functional Competencies :
- Excellent Communication skills both written and Verbal.
- Relationship management.
- Understanding of Inherent Risk & its impact on the organization
- Presentable
- Understanding of market & its dynamics
- Marketing skills.
- Need to be able to make and work on marketing presentations.
