Senior Manager - Business Credit Strategy & Innovation - Bank

Role :

An unparalleled opportunity has arisen for a forward-thinking individual to provide strategic guidance and insight around the Bank's credit risk frameworks and processes to assist with enhancing return on capital with particular regard to employing advanced automation strategies within a business lending context.

Key Duties:

Hands-on direction and guidance of analysts in determining and managing origination credit strategies within Bank.

Apply innovative techniques across data and analytics to drive insights into origination credit strategies and decisioning frameworks with particular regard to employing advanced automated decisioning systems and advanced data assessment technologies.

Establish and refine business credit decision strategies and policies. Innovate to maximise risk/return and embed risk settings.

Influence key stakeholders and provide insights around portfolio issues, opportunities and strategies.

Lead and develop a supporting analyst to deliver on key priorities, whilst ensuring that each team member has a clearly identified career plan and personal development vision.

Skills & Experience:

Extensive understanding of the credit risk lifecycle, various levers to manage book shape, capital and risk weighted assets in order to build and manage leading frameworks in business credit policies.

Excellent P&L and Economic Capital understanding

Excellent understanding of statistics and advanced application of statistical tools and techniques and in particular credit automation technologies for decision frameworks.

Proven track record of execution within execution of business credit strategies and technologies with sound project management experience.

Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
