Senior Manager/AVP - Taxation - CA - BFSI/Big4

This position will support the head of accounts in payment bank in ensuring all tax compliances including Direct & Indirect tax, implementation of GST.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Independently handling all Indirect tax related matters related to all states where payments bank will operate

- Ensuring timely & accurate submission of Direct & Indirect tax returns and payments of taxes,tax Audits and Annual Return across various states

- Accurate maintenance of input tax credit reconciliations

- Handling all works related to LBT, Entry Tax, Cess etc. Payments & return and assessment for various Locations across India.

- Handling of Assessment, Scrutiny, Appeal for Direct & Indirect Tax

- Updating all the statutory compliances for direct & indirect tax departments like additional place of business, change in name etc.

- Keeping proper records for waybill / road permit for respective states.

- Advance tax calculations and payments

Skills & Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant or equivalent degree with 6-10 years of experience, preferably in banking industry / with big four

- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems, preferably SAP

- Knowledge of Direct & Indirect Tax and understanding GST and ICDS

- Ability to handle tax related work independently

- Effective oral and written communication skills
