We Are Hiring for Senior Manager / AVP OTC Derivatives or ETD derivatives -Role for our client in Pune.

Responsibilities:

The job involves leading a team working for Global Derivatives Process, specializing in administering end to end life cycle of ETD derivatives. The position requires good experience and back ground in financial markets and derivative products. The role includes a close supervision of the team, effectively handling escalations as well as communicating with internal and external clients.

Key Duties and Responsibilities - 

- Supervise team working on ETD trade capture, confirmations, settlements and reconciliations process. Managing process that service clients 24- 5 across all 3 regions

- Have experience of working in a global set up with team presence in different locations

- Ensure derivative trading activities are efficiently supported and ensure seamless day-to-day processing

- Organizes the work of the team, assigns tasks, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work.

- Actively manage and mitigate risk. Expected to conduct yourself in a way that does not expose company to inappropriate or excessive risk, ensures that clients are treated fairly, and ensures that company operates with integrity and transparency in the markets where it does business. As a manager, there is an expectation that you lead your team in a way that promotes appropriate risk behaviors

- Possesses very good leadership and organizational skills required to prioritize assignments and provide feedback regularly to staff

- Mentor and lead team for high performance. Collaboratively draft individual skill development plans for each team member, providing actionable insight into their best areas for development, and how to best leverage strengths in their daily work

- Creates and fosters an inclusive environment where team members interact with trust, respect and a shared sense of purpose and collective impact. Clearly defines team's purpose, priorities and allocates right resources to deliver on commitments including adherence to procedures and SLAs

- Strive to improve client servicing as evidenced by client satisfaction metrics and feedback from Client Service Group. Participate in new business/client presentations, RFP responses, and other client presentations as required.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with all related departments and Middle Offices. Build authentic long-term relationships with Internal and external clients by co-operating and collaboration to achieve shared goals.

- Build a good rapport and collaborate to create opportunities and solve problems. Break down barriers and silos. Provide honest input and be open to diverse perspectives.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):

- Bachelor- s/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

- Work experience in Derivatives/financial industry: minimum 8 years with prior people management exposure of at-least 3 years

- Managing multiple stakeholders across the regions would be the key expectation from candidate, hence prior exposure would be given a preference

- Extensive knowledge Over the Counter Derivative Products and its life cycle management.

- Strong problem solving skills, detail and results oriented.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint presentations.

- Excellent spoken and written English and the ability to handle business correspondence.

- Self-starter with the ability to lead and motivate the team in a fast-paced, dynamic and demanding environment.

- Sound knowledge of the financial markets, instruments and back office and middle office functions.

- Proactive and capable to handle multiple tasks under extremely time sensitive conditions.

- Good understanding of trade economics related to various financial product transactions is an addition.

- Candidate should be willing to work in all 3 shifts
