Senior Manager/AVP - Marketing (4-8 yrs)
Organization: The organization incubates and invests in Startups.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand building & management
- Responsible for continually improving the brand awareness for the group
- Act as a Brand Custodian, ensuring all internal and external communication is aligned with the predetermined brand guidelines and brand vision.
- Planning and execution of all communications and media actions on all channels, including online and social media
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent communication across all channels and always striving to improve the brand awareness and brand recall
- Create speaker opportunities for the leadership and other stakeholders as required
- Take ownership of designing, building and maintaining online as well as offline presence (including but not limited to the website, social media accounts, and office premises)
- Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity & ensure brand standards are followed across all programs and initiatives.
2. Program Marketing
- Brainstorm with BU heads to develop and present campaigns and offer relevant strategic inputs
- Key contributor to designing and delivering par-excellence programs
- Responsible for leading the marketing and scouting phases of programs ensuring top-quality startups applying for our programs
- Analyze marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
- Act as the sole point of contact for the PR agency and ensure smooth media relations for the group
- Managing finance & budgets for the department
- Responsible for overall effective end to end marketing deliverables for group
3. Market Research and Competitive Intelligence
- Constantly seek out to understand and analyze the Startup landscape. Provide strategic inputs to the team accordingly
- Identify various engagement platforms to connect with the startups from the ecosystem
- Identify and create various avenues to gauge post-engagement satisfaction for the start-ups supported; make recommendations and changes accordingly
4. Portfolio Support:
- Provide mentorship and support to program/portfolio startups as needed
Key Skills Required:
1. Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods
2. Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
3. Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
4. Ability to collaborate, lead the team, and get the job done
5. Well-organized and detail oriented
6. Exceptional communication and writing skills
7. Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind
Qualification and experience required:
1. Post graduate in marketing, communications or equivalent
2. Proven experience as marketing expert/specialist or similar role.
3. 4-5 years of experience preferred
