Job Duties:
- To arrive at identification of risk factors in the proposal & evaluate potential exposure to these risk factors.
- Making pointed recommendations on the risks that can be absorbed, mitigated, diversified, or avoided altogether.
- Proactively working in tandem with business counterparts on structuring deals or transactions to fit in the ambit of products dealing, within acceptable profile of risk & ensuring compliance with sales, operations, & legal manuals; on case to case basis.
- Advising BD on internal credit policies & procedures, so that appropriate clients can be on boarded smoothly.
- To ensure that a complete proposal is being put forward to the Risk Management committee in a standard format along with risk comments on deal structure, financial risk, market reference, operational risk, survey issues.
- Also presenting the risk views, concerns, & comforts of a credit application to the members in the RMC discussion.
- Continuously monitor the overdue positions in the accounts. Keeping track of first level of watch list accounts.
- Reviewing the reasons for slippages in frequently migrating overdue accounts.
- Keeping track on early warning signs transpired in quantitative & qualitative information on existing accounts. (The developments in credit ratings, quarterly results, google alerts, market sources to be monitored)
- Taking & suggesting measures to correct the temporary stress.
- To conduct timely annual renewals & mid-term reviews of existing clients.
