Job Purpose :
- The responsibility of this role is to ensure compliance in the respective business and monitor on continuous basis.
- The scope of this role includes vetting of KYC documents, client agreements, terms of business, referral agreements and disclaimers, vetting different business products, support in legal and litigation related assignments,
- Role also involves handling Exchange/SEBI enquiries and inspections and surveillance related activities.
Key Responsibilities :
Managerial Responsibilities :
- Maintaining a high level of coordination within and outside the team
- Coaching the team on activities and creating a back-up for smooth functioning of the team's activities in a smooth manner without any misses
- Mentoring team members on various aspects of work
Functional Responsibilities :
- Having hands on Experience in Wealth Management products including Investment Advisory, Research Analysis, IAF, PMS, Structure Products, product distribution and cross selling etc.
- Handling funding products, RBI Regulations and NBFC Compliances.
- Handling compliance for Equity, Commodity and Depository.
- Handling sophisticated tools on Anti money laundering, Surveillance, Compliance and internal control applications.
- Drafting, formulation and implementation of Policies and Processes as may applicable to business.
- Analytic of the data to be submitted to the regulators and senior management.
- Interaction with regulators, and improving regulatory relationships including internal stakeholders.
- Supporting Legal and litigation related assignments.
Job Requirements :
Qualifications : CA/CS/LLB/MBA Finance
Experience Minimum : 10 years of experience in BFSI sector

Business Teams/Global Compliance Team
- To understand the business initiatives and ensure compliance
- To address business queries
- To provide updated compliance information and guidelines to various business teams to avoid any non compliance
- To educate / make aware /update various LOBs on various regulatory changes and ring fencing.
- To take guidance/clarification from Group Compliance team for various regulatory implementations and submissions.
Technology Team :
- To interact with the team to upgrade the system as per the requirement of new policies or compliance/ automations of manual processes.
Legal Team :
- To co-ordinate with legal for feedback / data in case of arbitration matters
Operations & Other Teams :
- To collate data for regulatory submissions/inspections
External Nature or purpose of interaction
System vendor :
- Business and regulation related interaction

Regulatory / Stock Exchange Officials :
- To get clarity regarding the exchange requirements for the business initiatives
- To get clarity regarding exchange rules and regulations in case of any ambiguity
Regulators and Exchange :
- To collect data from various LOBs which may be required by regulatory authorities and provide the same to regulators within the timeline
- To provide time reply to the data or query raised by regulators or exchange
- To revert with clarification and supporting documents to regulators/exchange for any observation reported during inspections
