A. POSITION PURPOSE -
Chief of Staff Office supports the MD & CEO is responsible for a number of critical tasks cutting across the organisation. The team is responsible for driving strategic agenda, maintaining rigour on governance boards and supporting internal communication behalf of the MD & CEO. The role will require engagement with senior leadership of the company and with a number of stakeholders across the bank.
The role holder with be responsible for -
- Timely & effective execution of activities related to Chief of Staff's Office
- Manage & execute data collection, analysis & summarising conclusions
- Supporting internal communications for MD & CEO including event organisation
- Fact finding, information collation & presentation preparation
- Collaborating with various business areas and other unit heads to drive and deliver key bank-wide projects
- Will be required to actively engage with business heads and other stakeholders from Operations, Product, Technology, HR, Corporate Services to achieve desired results.
B. KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES -
Sr. Key Responsibilities -
1 Coordinate and facilitate activities related to Management Committee meetings, driving & tracking delivery of actions and other deliverables under the CoS's office.
2 Preparation of Executive dashboards and adhoc reports starting from data gathering, reporting and follow-ups, including any post review actions.
3 Coordinate the delivery of activities under the Geography Heads Framework for the bank including setting up regular meeting, publishing MI and close monitoring & tracking of actions
4 Deliver mini projects from inception to completion in coordination with other functional stakeholders. Periodic publication of status reports, tracking, escalation to stakeholders to ensure timely execution of projects.
5 Manage coordination of internal activities for the Chief of Staff's office such as budgets, HC tracking, completion of mandatory training and other adhoc requirements.
6 Support organisation of leadership meetings and workshops as required from planning, delivery and tracking actions post event
7 Coordinate with various stakeholders for delivery of communication plan for CEO as well as organising other internal communications events such as townhalls
8 Presenting data in charts, graphs, tables, designing and developing relational databases
9 Sourcing information, influencing colleagues where necessary; information collation & presentation with conclusions & recommendations
10 Investigate (as deep as necessary) any issues identified by management and create report on results
11 Creating effective MS Power Point presentations & White Papers in MS Word
12 Working with various Units to follow-up deliverables & actions; coordinate & deliver quality status reports
C. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
Qualifications -
Essential - Graduate
Preferred - MBA (Marketing)
Experience -
Essential : 6- 12 years preferably Banking or Financial institutions or Consulting
Preferred - Business Analysis
- Preferable in Central Role interacting with Top Management
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to structure, plan and coordinate mini projects covering various business areas

Business Analysis - Research to understand data points required to produce a certain result or data analysis
- Requirement gathering to produce structured, functional specifications
- Working on complex data elements
- Experience of producing senior management reports, papers and business scorecards
- Experience of working in a banking change environment
- Ability to interpret Financial Results and understand the interplay of numbers, especially w.r.t. KPIs and their trends
Communication Skills - Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
- Attention to detail. Should be able to develop accurate written materials.
- Should be able to follow up on feedback to ensure positive outcomes.
- Good experience in employee communications across communication planning, delivery and channel management
- Ability to design and create power-point presentations for wide variety of audience
- Experience organising events and facilitation will be preferred.
