Senior Manager/Associate Director - Testing - ETL/BI

Role: Senior Manager/ AD Testing

Location: Gurgaon

12 to 15 yrs of ETL/BI Testing exp, with strong exposure to database and "data-oriented testing". Testing exp on any of the BI tools like Cognos, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Business Objects. Strong working knowledge & concepts clarity on Data warehousing

- Experience in working on AWS & SFDC platform is preferred.

- Working experience in test planning, test case designing and test execution for Healthcare Data (Database Testing/ETL Testing/DWH) projects

- Experience in Data Warehouse, Database, ETL & BI testing

- Should have functional knowledge on data quality, DWH verification and validation procedures

- Thorough out the project in various iterations/Sprints conducted system testing, integration testing, functional testing and integration testing.

- Developed complex SQL queries for querying data against different data bases for data verification process.

- Prepared the Test Plan and Testing Strategies for Data Warehousing Application

- Developed ETL test scripts based on technical specifications/Data design documents and Source to Target mappings.

- Translate system requirements into test scenarios and scripts Write test cases/scripts, and coordinate reviews/approvals of those test scripts. Execute test scripts. Define and track quality issues/defects

- Extensively used and developed SQL scripts/queries in backend testing of Databases.

- Worked with ETL groups and Acquisition team and business analyst for understating mappings for dimensions and facts

- Extracted data from various sources like Oracle, flat files and SQL server.

- Worked on issues with migration of Data from development to QA-Test Environment

- Extensively tested several Business Objects Reports, (Dashboards) to validate the reports the data and cosmetics of the report.

- Extensively worked with flat files and excel sheet data sources. Wrote scripts to test the flat files data in the databases

- Tested a number of complex ETL mappings, mapplets and reusable transformations for daily data loads.

- Creating test cases for ETL mappings and design documents for production support

- Understand application technical architecture (Presentation Layer, Business Layer, DB layer),Web, App Server, DB Server

- Experience in Pharma processes like alignment, call planning, field reporting will be added advantage.

- Self-starter, ability to work with minimal supervision, pick up new solutions quickly & ability to work under pressure.
