ROLE : Position shall be responsible for overseeing Consulting assignments in Regulatory /Policy /Tariff /Commercial related matters pertaining to Generation/Transmission/Distribution Utilities as a Regulatory Expert Business Development RESPONSIBILITIES: - Regular engagement with the client for delivering consulting assignments successfully - Initiate, develop and support new and existing business opportunities Experience : 8+ years of experience in power sector regulatory matters, preferably in a reputed consulting firm Qualifications: B. Tech in Electrical/ Mechanical from NITs/IIITs and top Govt. Funded Technical Institutes Only (Mandatory) + MBA in Finance/Power/Energy Management (Preferred) Skills: - Ability to develop long term client relationships - Detailed knowledge of the Indian Power Sector, including its commercial, technological and regulatory drivers - Analytical and project management skills including the ability to implement projects and interacting with clients - An ability to multi-task effectively and balance time between project delivery and business development support effectively - Experience of handling tariff filing related assignments, commercial agreements Power Purchase Agreements, Fuel Supply Agreements and Supplementary Power Purchase Agreements) - Preparation of competitive bidding documents for power procurement from various sources - Experience of having worked on renewable/conventional energy consulting assignments - Strong expertise in MS Excel based Financial Modeling - Strong written and oral communications skills - Strong presentation skills
