Senior Manager/Asst. Vice President-Digital Alliances
Role Review:
We are looking for ambitious and energetic Business Development Leaders for creating new B2B partnerships and alliances for our Insurtech-as-a-Service (IaaS) product suite. The goal for the individual is to hunt new businesses, develop strategic alliances, drive revenue sources and own end-to-end P&L of these accounts for our business expansion across the country.
The ideal candidate would have a proven track record as a business leader and well networked with CXOs, Directors, decision makers and influencers in BFSI and digital economy industries. S/He would be experienced in B2B/SaaS business models and have a thorough understanding of embedded finance use cases in these ecosystems esp. Insurance/Insurtech.
Role : Senior Manager / Asst. Vice President - Digital Alliances
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Executing our organization's digital B2B sales plans by building and securing new partnerships and alliances with companies operating in the BFSI and digital economy industries domains esp Banking, NBFC, MFI
- Identifying, preparing, negotiating and driving deals to closure incl. documentation (Contracts/Agreements/MoUs etc.)
- Creating and managing business development pipeline and vetting B2B opportunities, deals and right partners.
- Launching business operations and expanding the company's products and services in new markets/geographies across the partners' ecosystem.
- Establishing sustainable financial growth of the portfolio through effective and efficient management of ongoing relationships.
- Proposals and solutioning for new and existing clients to maximize opportunity win rates.
- Working with internal and external stakeholders incl. Business, Product, Tech, Marketing etc. teams on program launch, project management and associated initiatives.
- Chipping into the organizational thought leadership as a subject matter expert on Insurance/Assurance/Insurtech trends in the BFSI and digital economy industries.
- Becoming an expert in the company's products and services and where they sit in the larger BFSI and digital economy ecosystems.
- Conducting Market Research, GTM and Competition Mapping studies.
Prerequisites:
- Overall experience of 8-14 yrs with B2B Sales & BD experience of 7+ yrs.
- Experienced and accomplished in working closely with CXO/Executive/Management level relationships for business development
- Good handle on P&L development, engagement planning, analytical problem solving and client reviews.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to travel extensively to business development meetings, industry conferences etc. across the country.
- Self-motivated, ambitious and open to working independently on organizational and customer needs
- Understanding of SaaS/APIs/Tech based business models
