Sales Analytics- Sr. Manager/AGM

We are looking for a Sales Analytics - Sr.Manager/ AGM for the topmost leading FMCG Company for Mumbai or Kolkata Location.

Purpose of the role :

- Driving key sales analytics initiatives to suggest trends and provide insights into the overall CCD business. Create models to analyse channels both urban and rural channel for increasing efficiency in coverage, maximizing sales revenues across product lines and optimizing manpower

- Creating dashboards using available tools (Tableau/SAP/CDMS/mSFA) and information to help senior management review, course correct and manage business effectively.

- Supporting in implementation and effective sales information management and creating uniform information systems for driving analytical approach within the sales team

Responsibilities/Activities :

- Assists in developing CCD sales dashboards and review formats with a view to measure and review progress in sales and distribution initiatives

- Assists in implementation of robust processes and create an SOP for formalising review structures across regions to drive sales force.

- Work on sales and distribution effectiveness and propose the framework and identify potential levers to drive improvement.

- Build the analytical capability of entire Regional Sales Force by creating a structured review methodology

- Supports in development and implementation of tools within the system and arm the sales development/trade marketing team with actionable information

- Drive and co-create analytical plan with a long term perspective to build overall organization Sales MIS and data management practices

- Suggest initiatives/projects along with IT team in HO to drive better usage of tools and co create dash boards

- Captures data and analyses information to record/build efficiency of activations and identifies changes required in the process.

- Interacts with sales coordinators/IT team/ Sales Tech Team for capturing sales data of specific areas as per requirement and provides inputs to IT team for sales automation for specified business domain.

- Reviews the reporting format of the sales process and develops revised reporting format for capturing sales analytics data as desired.

- Proposes initiatives to drive sales automation usage, compliance and efficiency leading to adoption of an analytical approach in the team

- Ensures data crunching and converting sales data into meaningful analysis and interpretation and representation in IT enable dashboard for smooth decision making for sales team and HO and assist them with historical data and prevailing sales trends.


- Assesses business / sales data analytic needs & ensures rolling it out for sales team of the laid business domain.

Industry- FMCG or Market Research (worked on FMCG /CPG clients)

Experience - 10-15 years

Education - MBA
