- Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures - Preparation of the standalone and consolidated financial statements - Compliance with Clause 41 - Review of financials and performance of the subsidiary and JV entities - Carry out business/ fair valuation - Evaluate requirements of Impairment - Co-ordinate with the plant finance heads/ Business finance heads to ensure closing requirements - Prepare accounting memos for critical accounting concepts - Perennially ensure updating of the IFC related documents and compliance - Co-ordinate with the Statutory Auditors and resolve issues - Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)/ Ind AS - Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit with the approved external auditor - Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions - Carry out Balance Sheet review at regular intervals - Participate as a member of the Finance Committee - Develop and implement policies and procedures as required to ensure that personnel and financial information is secure - Manage approvals in SAP for GL / Cost/ Profit center/ Business area creation - Approve non-routine and unusual accounting - Lead implementation of new accounting pronouncements - Lead preparation of Annual Report and XBRL filings Candidate Profile : - CA 1st attempt with 8-12 yrs of total experience - Should be currently working with a Listed Manufacturing Company for 6-8 yrs - Prior experience in Big4 firm for 2-3 yrs in statutory audit is mandatory. - Candidate should be open to travel 2-3 days a month to other locations as and when required. - Strong knowledge of financial accounting and compliance - Should be a go-getter with excellent communication skills - Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills. - Working Knowledge in SAP system - Strong analytical and negotiation skills - Ability to work closely with internal &amp; external stakeholders - Curious, current on market and regulatory developments - Excellent communication skills - Well organized, highly system and process-oriented approach - A deep desire to excel and implement best in class practices Candidates from TN, AP, TS &amp; KAR preferred.
