About the Role: Senior management role in the domain of External Affairs, Corporate Communications, Public Policy &amp; Advocacy, Government Affairs &amp; Relations, Liaison, Public Relations &amp; Affairs Job Requirements: - The role requires strong expertise in the domains of External Communications, Branding, Event Management, Public Policy &amp; Advocacy and Government Affairs - Interaction &amp; Engagement with Industry Associations (ICEMA &amp; CII, etc) - Regular communication with government bodies like Ministry of Road Transport and Highways(MORTH), Dept. of Heavy Industries(DHI), Dept. of Industry Policy and Promotion(DIPP)Ministries of Coal, Mining, Inland Waterways, Rural Development, Defence - Working with Regulatory bodies such as ARAI, CPCB, BIS, DGMS - Liaising with State &amp; Central Government bodies &amp; leveraging relations with Senior Government Officials - Engagement with bodies like Niti Aayag - Relevant exposure to Corporate PR activities Key Responsibilities: - Ability to identify, build &amp; foster strategic relationships with government, corporates and industry bodies to identify future plans and Investments of various Ministries that impact the Company's business E.g. MORTH/NHAI: Technology upgradation, Project models (EPC, HAM &amp; BOT Toll) Regulatory Issues -Emission Norms, New Technology- hybrid, electric etc. E.g. Ministry of Coal: Government Policy on captive coal mining, Policy on Imports, Contract coal mining, Technology upgradation - Identify business potential for the organization - Understanding of government policies &amp; their impact on the Company E.g. RCEP, Public Procurement, Emission norms Additional Responsibilities - Understand CSR policy &amp; forge successful partnerships in CSR Key Skills Required: - Strong Communication Skills &amp; Personality - Ability to Network and build Contacts - Capability to understand key laws and regulations governing the Industry - Ability to create and present sound proposals representing Company views - Ability to work well with teams including Industry peers Desired Skills Required: - Exposure in CSR policies - Exposure to social development projects &amp; practices - Experience of working with NGOs
