Job Description :

The role is a delivery leadership role, leading one or multiple teams. The EXL offshore team supports multiple US based client in the area of Retail, Media Analytics. Most of the work done by the teams is around regular Reporting / MIS, Adhoc analysis, Report Enhancement and Report Investigations.

- Lead a team of analysts

- Roughly one third of the role is hands on, in order to support critical requests, remove technical bottlenecks and provide a final level resource backup.

- Two thirds of role is team management involving technical guidance, people development, hiring support, project management, client management etc.

- Part of the profile would also include BD related to new client requests, identifying new analytical solutions to respective clients

- Manages complex data and business analyses to develop business plans and make recommendations.

- Works closely with business leaders to develop business plans based on historical and forecasted data and reports.

- Utilizes the full range of quantitative and qualitative business models and analyses to contribute to business problem

- Provide long term vision to the team and take the team to the next level.

Required Qualification :

- 8 - 9 years overall experience. (2 + years in leading a team of analysts/ SMEs on multiple independent projects as part of a one or more client engagements )

- 5 + years in Analytics

- Strong problem solving approach

- Ability to break down business problems into small solvable pieces

- Should have hands on experience in cutting and slicing of data using statistical techniques and bring out the insights

- Clear articulation of insights and ability to story board

- Strong skills in SAS/SQL/EXL required, knowledge of D3.js, R or Python a plus

- Exposure to modeling techniques would be an added advantage

- Thorough understanding and business application of modeling techniques.

- Ability to apply statistical techniques in low data environments

- Skilled at integrating modeling inputs into broader strategy

- Personal hands on competency with 1 or more coding language to be able to impart good coding standards across teams

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Post Graduate (MBA /Statistics / OR / Economics /any other quantitative or finance disciplines)
