Sr. Manager/AGM - Human Resources - Transportation Business  Location - Hinjewadi, Pune  About Company - US MNC into Transportation Business (Greenfield in India started in the year 2016). The client is in the process of building an entirely new organization of 2,000 people of which 1,800 would be blue-collared workmen.   About the role:  This position will have HR generalist duties with oversight of all the business divisions. The position will report to the GM of HR. In this role, as part of the greenfield setup, this position will be critical to the review and implementation of all employee-related policies, procedures, statutory compliances, and systems with a primary focus on recruiting and on-boarding. The recruiting function will be full range from implementation of our ATS system, building partnership with recruiting resources, refining recruiting plans to adjust to environmental needs- As with any new business, the position will develop from a startup function to a management function - employee development, employee engagement-   Major Responsibilities :   1) Develops recruitment strategies using local labor market information, local wage analysis, employment and retention analysis, and research in compliance with company hiring standards.  2) Conducts employee relations/employee complaint investigations. Advise management on the proper administration of follow up and discipline.   3) Ensure compliance with local laws/regulations and policies via leadership of HR and labor matters to all functional areas.  4) Oversees compliance of personnel records.  5) Manages employee databases.  6) Facilitates grievance hearings and terminations.   7) Oversees leave management.  8) Point of contact for employee requests and questions. Receives and responds to inquiries concerning employee policies and procedures and other location functions.  9) Coordinates benefit enrollment for new employees. Coordinates annual benefits enrollment for all employees.  10) Reviews and ensures compliance with all applicable employment legislation. Prepares and submits related reports.  11) Coordinates with the Finance Team to effectively manage timekeeping and payroll system and questions/concerns for employees.  12) Assists General Manager of HR with various research special projects.  13) Coordinates employee evaluations and training and development of team members.  14) Other duties as assigned.  Minimum Education & Certifications Required: Bachelor's Degree, HR professional certification, or other combination of education and experience.  Experience & Skills Required: - Fluent in written and spoken English  - 7-12 years experience in HR functions preferred  - Strong team-building skills  - Excellent communication skills  - Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
