Senior Manager - Actuarial - Valuation (Life Insurance)

Company: Leading Life Insurance Company.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. To be key member of the statutory reporting team and support shareholders and pricing team

2. Carry out a detailed analysis on the experience of mortality, lapses etc. and provide with constructive recommendation

3. Carrying out periodical analyses on ALM position of the Company and communicate the result with constructive recommendation to various stakeholders including IRDA and Internal Management

4. Monthly and Annual Statutory valuation and reporting

5. Analyzing the valuation data in terms of its accuracy and completeness

6. Building parallel models/UAT testing for testing accuracy of Prophet models

7. Support in other areas of actuarial work on need basis

8. Good team work and positive attitude to work is a must

9. Prepare need-based MIS.

Key Performance Indicators:

1. Delivery of all assigned work items tasks accurately & timely manner

2. Good exam progress

Experience:

1. 7+ years preferably in statutory reporting team

2. Proficient in Excel and Good working knowledge of Prophet (Actuarial software) and SQL

3. Should have good understanding of actuarial principles

Qualification: Good progress with actuarial papers including knowledge of CT5
