Senior Manager - Actuarial - Life Insurance Firm

One of the life insurance company is hiring for Actuarial Valuation and reporting role for Senior Manager.

Purpose of the role - 

1. Conducting monthly valuation and finalization of reserves

2. Performing experience analysis every month

3. Evaluation of solvency position

4. Preparing reports for IRDAI annual submissions

Valuation - 

1. Ensuring monthly delivery of actuarial reserves to the Finance team

2. Internal Reporting of mortality and persistency experience to various departments (Finance, Strategy, Risk, etc.)

3. Monitoring solvency position

4. Preparing annual valuation reports for IRDAI submissions

5. Handling Regional office requirement and other adhoc work

Shareholder Reporting - 

1. Ensuring monthly delivery of dashboard (budget vs actual comparison) to be provided to various channel heads and the CEO.

2. Internal Reporting of New Business Margins to various departments (Finance, Strategy, Risk, etc.)

3. Training/highlighting channels on profitability metrices (through presentations, on-site workshops, etc.)

4. Constant monitoring to provide advise on product mix and how to improve profitability

5. Handling Regional Office reporting
