Job Description :
- Incumbent will head Activations and evangelize the role activations can play in the Media Mix. As media proliferates, consumers need touch-points beyond TV to convince them about their brand and convert into trialists/loyalists.
- This person as the activation lead will drive interactions with the consumer using but beyond the traditional channels of communication (TV/print/digital). He must be a thought leader on activations and be able to share inspiring examples of brands which have used activations successfully to accomplish similar task.
- This is a role that has existed for more than 2 years. And it has recently been regarded/upgraded in view of the increasing importance of multiple touch-points in a consumers path-to-purchase
Responsibilities will be as follows :
Activation Planning And Strategy :
- Creating Annual plans for each brand and choosing suitable communication, engagement, mediums for activations
- Ensuring each activation is amplified through paid/owned/earned media
- Proposing innovative & Contemporary Brand Activation Solutions leveraging
- Out-of-home media/experiential tools
- Digital Marketing tools
- Other brands reaching to the same TG
Influencing Stakeholders :
- In the early stages, define the brand task along with the brand team. Facilitate a common ground between Brands, External collaborators & other agencies to ensure a smooth execution of projects.
- Actively Engaging with Creative Agencies to ensure that the Solutions being presented sync with over all brand communication
Team/agency Management :
- Getting agencies to propose and customize Brand Activation Solutions to brand's Needs and evaluating the same and making one consolidated master plan for each brand for the year
- Developing and maintaining healthy relationship with the key agencies
- Ensuring that the team achieves their Targets
- Ensuring that the motivation and Attrition of Team is well under control.
Project Delivery :
- Ensure all promotions and events follow the appropriate SLAs & deliver to business timelines
- Ensuring smooth reporting and feedback mechanism
- Regular reviews with all stake holders ensuring improvement in future delivery
Examples of projects done in the past :
Project 1 : To address malnutrition amongst children less than 5 years old in various States. This was done by identifying malnutrition in kids in partnership with local health practitioners, treating them for acute malnutrition and counseling the community on healthier balanced diets using local/affordable ingredients
- Contacting school children/mothers during exam time to underline the importance of adequate nutrition
- Reaching out to corporate employees to influence them in their path to purchase
Desired Profile :
- 9 - 13 years in the Experiential marketing Industry
- Marketing MBA from reputed institute
