Position - Senior Manager Accounts and Finance

Key responsibilities :
- Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
- Preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
- Production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
- Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year; files annual corporate tax return.
- Audits accounts to ensure compliance with statutory regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.
- Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
- Provides financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
- Ensures compliance with local, state, and other statutory requirements.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
- Prepare and maintain cash flow analyses as needed
- Analyze monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows) and effectively provide information as requested
- Preparation of year-end books for audit
- Ensure operational compliance with policies, procedure, and regulations for any necessary entities
- Process vendor payments and cheque requests
- Assist in reconciling all balance sheet and income statement accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis as indicated by the monthly closing schedule.
- Process payroll and report payroll taxes for the organization
- Avoids legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation, enforcing accounting regulations, and recommending new procedures.
- Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; and preparing special reports.
- Coordinates training programs for new staff and identifies training needs for current staff.
- Liaison with Banks for remittance, LC and other payment request
- Project cost analysis and related reports
