Senior Manager - Accounts - CA - Fashion Retail

We have 1 very urgent position in one of the best and established fashion retail brand

Position : Senior Manager - Accounts

Reporting : Head F&A

Reportee : 2 To 3

Location :- Mumbai ( Goregaon East )

CTC : 12 lac to 15 lac; depending upon current CTC, experience, interview status etc.

Job Specification :

- Will report into Head - Finance & Accounts and will be responsible for all accounts receivables (AR) from all distribution formats for the Brand along with spearheading the P&L management.

- Handle team of 2-3 people.

- Accounts finalization, monthly closing, finalization of books of accounts.

- Stakeholders Within Organization Stakeholders Outside Organization

- CFO, & Head of Finance Statutory auditors

- Finance Executives Partners (LFS / Franchisee)

- Sales Team Rating agencies

- IT Team

- Payroll Team

- Annual Operating Plan

- Support Head of Finance and CFO in creation of AOP at the beginning of the year

Account Receivables :

- Ensure that all collections as well as entries related to sales and customers are passed in the books of account on time.

- Circulation of weekly / monthly outstanding report and coordination with sales teams on collection of the same.

- Ensure all customer accounts are reconciled on a period basis and outstanding items related to account reconciliation with various partners are done time to time, proactively.

- Implement internal controls in AR function

Financial Reports / MIS :

- Prepare financial statements - P&L, Balance sheet, cash flow as well as MIS reports for review by Senior Management.

- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly dashboards as well as Retail profitability

- Analyse the performance against approved Annual Operating Plan.

- Analyse store performance and prepare dashboards to the management to decide on operation / closure of non-performing stores.

Account Finalization :

- Coordinate with Statutory auditors for finalization of accounts.

- Good energy levels - with ability to follow up multiple task and deliver desired results with quality.

- Should be proficient in MS- Excel and have good understanding of accounting standards

- Effective listening & communications Skills - ability to put the point across with simplicity

Mandatory part of the Candidate profile:

Education: Should be a CA (1st & 2nd attempt most preferred ) - Candidates more than 3 attempts, pls don't apply.

- Should have experience in preparation of financial statements and coordination with statutory auditors of at least 3-7 years

- CA Final pass out on or before 2011 mandatory. (Candidates passing CA 2012 & on wards are not eligible to apply).
