Principal Analyst/Associate Director Fundamental Equities(Semiconductor/Hardware/Software/Technology sectors)

Headquartered in New York City, with a strong global presence and a reputation for excellence in the financial industry is seeking Lead Analyst/Principal Analyst/Associate Director - Fundamental Equities

- As part of this role, you will work closely with our analysts in the Fundamental Equities (FE) team based in the USA. You will primarily function as a global generalist, with a specific focus on, but not limited to, companies operating in the Semiconductor/Hardware/Software/Technology sectors

Qualifications:

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent.

- Additional qualifications such as MBA, CFA, or CA are highly desirable.

Experience:

- Over five years of investment research experience.

- A minimum of two years of experience covering the semiconductor space is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

1. Equity Research:

- Provide comprehensive coverage of companies, with a primary emphasis on the semiconductor sector.

- Develop and present compelling investment ideas to support the firm's strategies.

- Monitor news flows, sell-side research views, and company results.

2. Financial Analysis:

- Support detailed financial modeling of company financials.

- Prepare investment write-ups and presentations.

- Conduct in-depth benchmarking of valuation and operational metrics compared to peer groups.

3. Collaboration:

- Collaborate closely with front-office groups to refine financial models and investment theses.

- Attend management, sell-side, intermediary, and sector expert calls to gather insights and intelligence.

Skills:

- Excellent equity research skills, with a deep understanding of financial markets.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
