- Drive key transformation projects & re-engineering projects globally.
- Play a key role in supporting implementation of Business Initiatives with respect to the Balance Sheet, Expenses & profitability.
- End to end responsibility& ownership- Play a key role in Planning & monthly outlook process and other critical MIS/analysis. Drive preparation and analysis of Key Management Review Decks for Regional & Global Business Heads with respect to theP&L, Headcount, Cost of Credit and Balance Sheet analysis
- Identify and enable opportunities for automation, process enhancements & reduce production time to allow more time for analysis. Streamline / reduce redundancies, standardize and implement best practices across regions/products.
Relationship Management with very senior FP&A leaders, CFOs and other groups like risk, treasury etc.
Guide the team to develop controls, accuracy, enhanced MIS and analytics
Candidates Profile:
- Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance with at least 15 years of progressive experience across finance functions like Business/financial Planning, Controllership, CFO support, Reporting etc. Must have worked in a senior challenging role with a Bank, Financial Institution or Banking.
- Strong understanding of Banking business, P&A process and CFO function
- Excellent financial analysis and management reporting background
- Excellent presentation skills
- Experienced in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint, Excel & Word).
- Team Management - should have managed large analytical teams.
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Very strong analytical and problem solving skills. Able to synthesize large amounts of data and provide business insights/analysis that will help in decision making.Attention to detail is an essential part of the job
