Senior Leader - Risk & Control - Sales/Trading

Exciting Leadership opportunity to work with one of the Leading Investment Bank in Mumbai with Team management to work in the Global Markets Sales and Trading Risk Management team.

This role focuses heavily on Risk and Governance, Trade Surveillance, and Information controls for the division.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Review of users entitlement to various applications with adequate information barriers.

- Monitor, create and improve existing control frameworks and addressing gaps / building new processes where required.

- Risk review, data leakage, and remediation and solutions.

- Review of access to third party platforms appropriate to the said employee.

- Participate in strategic risk projects and lead and implement.

- Review of internal policy breaches, electronic communications, etc.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- Chartered Accountant or MBA.

- 6-12 years with a background in Compliance, Risk Management, Trade surveillance &/ Trading Support focusing on sales and trading issues.

- Exceptional organizational skills and high degree of attention to detail.

- Knowledge of Equities markets, understanding of applicable regulatory rules and regulations.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- An understanding of and strong focus on the mechanics of a control environment including escalation and risk-related issues.
