Senior Leader - Quant Strategy - Investment Bank

Exciting opportunity with one of the leading Investment Bank looking for a leadership role who will render support to a new quantitative project development which is focused on improving the investment process, the credit strategy process and the systematic trading strategies of the organization.

Some of the key responsibilities will include :

- Great understanding of complex statistics and code, and have a logical and structured approach to problem solving and creating data-based engineering solutions.

- Would need to have great coding skills (R and Python) and some quantitative economics/ financial market knowledge, if not experience.

- Additionally, a strong understanding of financial derivatives would be beneficial

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- Bachelors degree in finance / accounting, mathematics / statistics / engineering or other related area

- Highly proficient in R and Python coding languages.

- Experience in quantitative finance within the Asset Management Industry or the Investment Banking Community would be advantageous

- Strong communication and negotiation skills, to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders

- Highly numerate with analytical problem-solving ability

- Quick learner and polished style
