Basic Function :&nbsp; The Lead will be responsible to setup and manage production support process for Datasource Consulting / EXL clients. Responsible for following up through ticketing and monitoring systems and co-ordinating between teams/stakeholders for daily business support and SLAs. This position works closely with engagement managers and project managers to ensure the successful support engagements for clients. Will have to lead the automations and process recommendations to improve efficiency and predict errors and SLA misses. Will be responsible to lead the small team for co-ordinate with the onshore and clients directly. Essential Functions :&nbsp; - Has deep understanding to build and maintain a reputable global support framework. - Has in depth understanding of incident management, problem management, change management and knowledge management. - Has some knowledge on data management, role of data in business and the enterprise. - Has deep understanding of automation and monitoring tools and technology for prod support. - Identify, report, manage and mitigate production risks that exist within the application portfolio - Develop relations with business community and the out sourced service providers. - Has deep understanding of job creation, scheduling, dependencies and failure handling. - Interact with infrastructure, release management, change management, QA, DBA and application teams. - Provide regular status reports to management on application status and other metrics. - Good in analysis and prioritizing tasks and communications. - Lead and mentor junior developers in information integration standards, best practices, etc. - Develop error-handling processes. - Create and implement scheduling strategy. - Proven knowledge of Software Development Lifecycles and Methodologies (i.e. Agile, Waterfall, etc.) - Good knowledge on Onsite/offshore model with minimum 1 year of onsite project experience - Lead the team effectively which includes different modules in a given project. Primary Internal Interactions :&nbsp; - Coordinate with Project Managers and participate in project planning and recurring meetings - Collaborate with other team members to review prototypes and develop iterative revisions - Formulates workable solutions that integrate people, process and technology. Integrates competency leads and other subject matter experts to define the details of vision and solution - Identifies, creates and communicates the vision of the end-to-end solution for the client and implementation teams after completing thorough evaluations of the present state needs - Leads technical teams in documenting and implementing technical solutions for business problems - Supports Delivery Enablement and Practice Leads by ensuring appropriate linkage between practices is clear and well understood - Works with practice leads to develop project estimating methodologies for new areas of focus Primary External Interactions :&nbsp; Assessment Participation &amp; Leadership :&nbsp; - Identifies, creates and communicates the vision of the end-to-end solution for the client and implementation teams after completing thorough evaluations of the present state needs - Participates in strategy development and current state assessments for clients to identify opportunities. Acts as proxy for practice leads when necessary - Works with client to sell the proposed solution and develop internal marketing programs - Supports work that may not fall into an existing competency and helps to identify possible needs for new competencies. - Partners with account team and client to develop the ROI, Business Case, and Statement of Work for an engagement Organizational Relationships :&nbsp; Reports To : EDM India Practice Lead (SAVP) - over time, this will evolve Supervises : Support Developers Skills :&nbsp; Technical Skills - At least 6 years hands on experience in working in the Application support . - At least 2 years experience in development. - Working experience in HP Service desk/ Remedy or equivalent ticketing system for atleast 5 years. - Experience in development of automation tools. - Experience in implementing support processes in a global and complex environment. - Experience to Identify, report, manage and mitigate production risks that exist within the application portfolio - Must have experience of application support in key enterprise applications like SAP, CRM, ERP etc. - Good understanding of database concepts (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) - Experience with cloud/big data is a plus. - Proven experience managing 3rd party vendors and cloud providers support and SLAs. - Proven experience of leading, coaching and mentoring a large team of IT service oriented professionals. - Experience managing support through outsourced partners onshore and offshore. - Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban and DevOps software development methodologies is highly desired. - Practical application of the software development Life Cycle (SDLC), with industry standard best practice methodologies. - Experience leading teams in supporting of complex systems. - Drive the adoption of best practices around work with product and engineering team to drive the product vision and technology road map Process Specific Skills Will be responsible for the overall supervision of the staff on the engagement. They will be responsible for coaching and advising the team on the engagement. They will likely need to provide feedback to the people managers and practice leads of the resources on their engagement team. Soft skills (Desired) - Experience working with multi-divisional business communities to leverage information across the enterprise to improve business effectiveness - Strong team building, interpersonal, analytical, problem identification and resolution skills Soft Skills (Minimum) - Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities - Strong written/oral communication and presentation/interpersonal skills - Highly self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment Work Experience Requirements:&nbsp; 8-13 years of Application support experience I with at least 2 years of experience in data management.
