Senior IT Project Manager

1. At least 6+ years- experience of successfully leading and managing the end to end project delivery of both IT and business change projects

2. Familiar with following technologies in your current role: Java, AngularJS, Google cloud, DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, Git, SQL/NoSQL databases etc.

3. Should be comfortable leading the sprints as Scrum master and/or be part of scrum teams.

4. Proven experience in delivering projects in line with industry standard project management tools and methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2, PMI and MS Project. It is expected that the Senior Project Manager will have achieved PRINCE2 / Agile Practitioner status, or an equivalent certification.

5. At least 2 years- experience of managing projects delivered using an Agile methodology, and at least 2 years- experience using a Waterfall methodology.

6. Responsible for delivering assigned projects to timelines, scope, budget and quality.

7. Responsible for maintaining a positive working relationship with all stakeholders, delivery teams, vendors and partners.

8. Line Management for two Technical BAs.

9. Regularly makes decisions within defined project tolerances as per project scope, budget and timelines. Anything outside of these is normally referred to the Head of Programmes or the CIO before action.

10. Decisions taken impact overall project direction and success.
