Senior HR Manager at Uganda (East Africa)
Education:
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management
Experience:
- Minimum 14-16 years of experience out of which 4-6 years of experience as HR Manager
Key Skills and Responsibilities :
- Enhances the organization's Human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
- Co-ordination with various Business Unit Heads for recruitment, selection, orientation and training of employees.
- Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions, analyzing actual requirement of Man power of the Group Vs existing staff
- Preparing man power chart of the Group, monitoring over all HR Cost Vs Budget, cost reduction exercise
- Preparation of various MIS reports including No. of employees, HR Cost, Salary cost, perks cost etc.
- Supports organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; and recommending changes.
- Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
- Implementing office discipline, time attendance, professional working environment across the Group
- Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee on time to time and periodically in co-ordination with management
- Preparation of various Contracts, Appointment letter, offers for different kinds of employees
- Ensures legal and statutory compliance as per the Labor Law policies and regulations.
- Managing monthly Pay-roll system efficiently and on timely manner
- Retains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records of employees.
Communication Skills : English Fluency is must
ERP Knowledge : ERP system knowledge, payroll system knowledge is must, SAP knowledge will be given additional preference.
