The Payroll Manager is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with policies and legal requirements, proactively ensuring a thorough knowledge and understanding of changes to policies, state and federal laws impacting payroll, and analyzing advancements in payroll technology and making recommendations to improve payroll processes and functions. - Manages payroll processing in accordance with policy. - Uploads and verifies timekeeping record. - Monitors leave balances; calculates and processes termination payments in compliance with policy. - Knowledge of integrated administrative systems. - Knowledge of computerized payroll systems. - Knowledge of payroll principles, practices and methods. - Knowledge of accounting practices and procedures. - Knowledge of accounting mathematics. - Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and practices, specifically as they related to payroll.
