Client Details :

Our client is one of the largest players in the Logistics industry. They are looking for a senior HR Business Partner for their North and East region who can liaise with the leadership and be the single point of contact for all HR related activities

Description :

Reporting into the Head of HR, your responsibilities will include :

- Liaise with the leadership to outline, design and deliver HR strategies for the region

- Be a "business partner" and key member of the leadership team to align the HR strategy to the business goals

- Focus on leadership development and work closely with the management team to ensure that the human resource goals are aligned with the business goals and global HR initiatives within the set HR budgets

- Lead internal & external bench-marking initiatives to achieve opportunities to improve HR related practices/policies and enhance the Company's productivity & cost effectiveness, whilst promoting the organisation to the preferred employer status

- Develop innovative ways to optimise costs by changing vendor terms and process improvements

- Develop and recommend effective disciplinary policies, procedures & practices to support legal & effective management of issues

- Work closely with the business to initiate, influence and drive the people engagement and initiatives

- Close interaction and providing active support to HR Head, business heads on strategizing around performance management, talent
management, L&D, rewards and recognition's etc. to ensure consistent implementation of decisions and lead the team to execute coordinated annual appraisal process for the business

- Guide his/her team of 5-6 members & provide appropriate support during the development & implementation of the solution so as to optimise results/motivation

Profile :

- Should have 10 to 15 years of experience as an HR business partner

- Contract Labour Management will be considered a plus for this role.

- MBA with specialisation in HR from a Tier 1 business school will be preferred
