Role Title: Sr. General Manager/Vice President Reporting to: Director Division: Advertisement Location: Mumbai (Dadar) Education: Post Graduate/ MBA Years of Experience: 15+ years of relevant work experience in industry. Preferable form Print Media Industry. Purpose: - Lead the print business for the Metros and own the P&amp;L to drive sustainable growth and profitability - Formulate and execute a strategy for the organization to ensure growth in revenues for Print/Digital/TV/Events Responsibilities: Strategic: - Creates and drives short-term and long-term business plan for company in alignment with the organization business plan for the Metros - Drives differentiated brand positioning in the market for company News Paper - Define Print revenue strategy in terms of coverage areas and industry focus and monitor execution of strategies - Define retention strategy for each market segment and drive conversion Financial - Owns the Print Target for Metros to ensure a growth of Revenue through Agency &amp; Direct sales to achieve the desired Revenue Goal - Identifies the right network to maximize yields for each brand offerings mainly Print and secondary TV/ Digital/Events - Drive optimization of sales through new user acquisition by identifying the Potential Opportunities Operational : - Meeting the Unit and self- Revenue targets within the given timelines - Getting good rate as well as business - Collecting payments in time (within the approved credit period) - Maintaining good business relations with Agencies and clients - Taking care of Branch Operations and Monitoring and guiding the Team Heads - Maintaining smooth functioning of the Team Transformation and Organization - Mentor and coach subordinates to develop the team's capabilities and build a strong succession pipeline for the role - Reviews recurrent market issues/trends and sets in motion the required set of course correction measures Key Result Areas: - Overall Print business growth (targets defined by revenue and profitability) - To Monitor the market and identify all opportunities to pitch for business - Win new business through capability presentations - Ensure the brand enjoys a preferred position with planners and media buyers
