Job Description - Sr. General Manager (Operations) Job Role: - The Role would involve a deep understanding of the Pharmaceutical domain, in order to align the strategy and vision of the Knowledge Centre to that of the client to be a best in class. - The candidate is required to drive content oriented strategy initiatives and be able to champion these across the KC and be the engine which will fuel the long-term growth potential and value for the client. - The candidate should pro-actively identify and capitalize on new capabilities in order to build the consulting mindset. - Responsible for mentoring and guidance of team members on technical and personal development. Key Accountabilities: - Work with process/project leads to develop Analytic and information management practices that enhance teamwork and effectiveness - Drive integration of all analytics functions by encouraging best-practice sharing among teams and creating an environment of knowledge &amp; capability transfer across functions and leveraging the cross-functional synergies thereby increasing the quality of work - To ensure that the delivery content is rated high on depth, comprehensiveness, quality, and timelines and also interfacing with clients on a regular basis - Develop a diverse analytical team skill set - Demonstrate ability to convey complex ideas in an easily understood manner to guide audience through written or verbal communications. - Ensure exemplary communication with all stakeholders through regular updates with focus on accomplishments, KPIs, best practices, staffing changes, key events, etc. - Provide input into performance appraisal of Process Leads and manage their training needs - Work closely with internal / external management to drive overall productivity and growth within the business analytics and intelligence function. The specific responsibilities would be to: - Develop long term strategies for Team capability and skill enhancement - Plan and enable the implementation of strategy and its actionable operations - Deliver year-on-year efficiency improvements and cost savings PERSON SPECIFICATIONS Qualification Work Experience - 15-20 years - Post Graduate Degree in Management from Institution of repute/ doctorate in relevant field - Worked with Pharma and Life Sciences companies - Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into action plan. - Good overall knowledge of the Client interface / on boarding and associated processes Key Skills/ Competency (Necessary): Technical Experience - Should have the strong background in Healthcare /Consumer Analytics - At least 15-20 years relevant business analytics, database management, research, and marketing experience in Pharma/Healthcare in customer focused performance-driven cultures - Proven leadership ability to influence and perform at a top-management level in a cross-cultural, cross functional and global matrix organization. - Proven track record in people leadership, customer management and team development Skills - Experience of project management and execution - Good communication skills (English): written and oral - Flexibility/agility to work in a matrix and international environment - Ability to lead large teams, set direction and agenda, drive team development - Strong quantitative and qualitative skills with logical reasoning and problem-solving expertise to draw recommendation and drive insights - Strong focus on quality, high sense of project ownership, contributes towards building a positive team spirit and is enthusiastic, dedicated and a go-getter Capabilities: - Demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical business from commercial and clinical development perspectives, good knowledge of global pharmaceutical environment and challenges - Strong ability to understand, interpret and present Commercial data - Superior communication ability to ensure that the scope of projects/initiatives and expectations are commonly understood between customers and stakeholders - Good presentation skills, ability to interface with cross-functional teams - Ensure good cohesion and communication in the team - Grow and develop talent the team - Approach to work: Motivation/Initiative, Professionalism, Teamwork/People Management Key Skills/ Competency (Desirable): Technical: - To be knowledgeable and hands-on experience in various databases such as IQVIA - Understanding of Pharma - Product development and Commercialization - Exposure to Digital and Advanced Analytics would be an added advantage: Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Excellent communication skills (oral &amp; written) - Strong networking orientation and skills - Strong relationship building capability - Sharp analytical orientation - Strong Work ethics
