Senior General Manager - Finance & Accounts - BFS

Key responsibilities

- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements

- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles as per the latest accounting practices and standard

- Coordinate and complete annual audits and align the auditors for the companies adopted accounting procedures

- Provide corrective recommendations for the Internal accounting deficiencies

- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions

- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy

- Meet financial accounting objectives

- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions

- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and latest accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations

- Maintain the company bank balance and remain cognizant of outstanding checks

- Build the approval mechanism for payment of the company's obligation

- Read and review any documentation attached to checks for approval and accuracy sake

- Make sure all financial statements and tables are correct and precise

- Reconcile all bank statements and monthly financial reports

- Coordinate with the tax division of the company and prepare any schedules required for tax returns

- Analysis the various businesses within the group and reporting to management on a periodic basis
