SR General Manager/Assistant Vice President - Finance


Job Description : Seeking an experienced and skilled finance and accounting professional with a proven track record. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), your responsibilities will chiefly involve supporting the CFO overseeing financial planning, accounts consolidation and reporting, treasury management, business analysis, preparing MIS, and ensuring company secretarial compliance among other tasks.

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with the CFO to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.

- Lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes.

- Manage treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting, investment strategies, and risk assessment.

- Manage banking relationships and optimize company lending.

- Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance.

- Handle direct and indirect tax planning/management.

- Supervise accounts receivable and payable functions.

- Manage investor relations activities, including communication with shareholders and potential investors.

- Utilize Business Intelligence tools to analyze financial data and extract actionable insights.

- Provide strong leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the finance team.

- Engage with stakeholders and serve as a trusted financial advisor.

- Drive process improvement and efficiency in internal financial controls.

Qualifications :

- Chartered Accountant (CA) is must

- Preferred MBA (Finance) and/or Company Secretary (CS)

- 18 to 25 years of work experience in finance and accounting roles.

- Extensive experience in dealing with banking, lending, statutory audits, tax management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, investor relations, and treasury management.

- Comprehensive understanding of SEBI LODR Regulation, Companies Act and other common regulations

- Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics/Navision ERP and Business Intelligence tools for financial analysis and reporting.

- Previous experience in a listed company with atleast least 25,000 shareholders and revenue of at least Rs. 1000 crores per annum.

- Logistics industry experience preferred

- Strong financial planning, budgeting, and analysis skills.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
