The role of the Assistant Manager with RBSPL (AAMC) will focus on ensuring proper controls, procedures and accounting over several processes as given below. This position requires close coordination with Director, Accounting and with third party service providers, as applicable.  Responsibilities include:  - Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting per IGAAP  - Strong knowledge of various statutory and compliance requirement of India  - Managing the External audit requirement and front ending the auditors  - Review of BS and P&L numbers  - Review of fixed asset process end to end (including dealing with appropriate reconciliations, investigating potential obsolescence of fixed assets and recommend write-offs to management and conducting periodic impairment reviews of fixed assets).  - Preparation of schedules/data for equity, debt, payroll, management fee accrual etc   - Ensure smooth closing process  - SOX, internal audit and other compliance.  - Assist tax team with tax reporting  - Assist in internal audit process and implement accounting controls as directed  - Other ad hoc staff accounting duties as time permits  - Audit process and implement accounting controls as directed  Key Results Area: We need a candidate who is having good knowledge in handling Indian accounting and meeting the various compliance requirement of Indian laws and regulations like Income tax/TDS/ST/ and other statutory requirement. Candidate should have strong communication skills and should be a good team player who can also work with both internal and External auditors.   Qualifications:  - 2-5 years of sound accounting experience (Accounting under US GAAP as well as India GAAP)  - Worked in MNC environment  - CPA/CA preferred, can also look for CA Inter or strong candidate with MBA Finance   - Extremely strong in Microsoft Excel, Word and other Windows applications  - Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP a plus  - Good organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills  - Excellent client service orientation  - Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborate and results-driven environment
