Roles and Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Acquiring new businesses in the India mobility markets (including passenger and commercial vehicles, two wheelers, LEV, etc.),
- Developing new business relationships with Tier-1 Suppliers and OEMs' SW center in India
- Strong ability to navigate complex automotive R&D organization (i.e. in-vehicle ethernet & vehicle data teams) and map key groups and individuals to sponsor our product from POC to mass production cycles.
- Utilizing existing relationships and forming new ones to develop a technical sales strategy for major US-headquartered OEMs.
- Assisting Business Development Managers to develop strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote business development, sales growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop local strategic relationships with eco-system partners.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor of Science degree or higher in a computer science, natural sciences, or engineering field
- Minimum 10 years of proven success in technical selling or developing sophisticated software, electronic components, connected car technologies, data services platforms, and/or other solutions
- Candidate must have hands-on technical experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Linux OS, data collection SW, ethernet and other buses (i.e. CAN/CAN-FD, FlexRay, etc) technologies, AUTOSAR (Classic and/or Adaptive), ADAS, Autonomous Driving, Connected Cars/Services or Telematics
- Cloud backend data management, applications, etc.
- Candidate must have experience working with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers
- Candidate must have experience and knowledge about typical POC and SOP processes in the automotive and transportation industries
- Rudimentary knowledge of automotive ethernet and its use cases is a plus.
