Designation: Senior Executive - Finance (Accounts Receivables) Reports to: VP - Finance Department: Finance &amp; MIS Eligibility Criteria: - Must be a qualified CA / CWA / MBA - Finance from an accredited institute - Must have worked extensively in accounts receivable job profile - Must have job exposure from a Manufacturing or Trading or Service industry - Minimum 4 years and maximum 6 years job experience post CA Qualification - Job exposure from outsourcing company or shared services company will not be considered. - Must have dealt with client or customer facing role About Company: A leading 25 Years old General Insurance Company having branches all across the country. Purpose of Job: - All debtors accounts are periodically reconciled. - Collections are made from client and brokers as per credit terms. - New client codes are opened in premia as per request from Marketing Dept after observing all the documentations required as per credit policy. - Forward clean clients balance statement periodically.' Key Responsibilities: Business Development - Opening new client account code in the system after ensuring the credit request is approved by the Management as per the credit policy and allotment of credit code to customers. Customer Account Management - Periodically reconcile the client's statement of outstanding and collecting the due premium on time as per credit time. Assisting the client on any enquiry on invoices and promptly resolving the same in coordination with marketing dept. Financial Performance:&nbsp; - Ensure the debtors collection period should be within acceptable period and no collections are pending more than the credit period allowed. - For any collection pending from client beyond the credit period, serving the notice of cancellation promptly in coordination with marketing dept. - Initiate legal action for recovery on account of non-payment with the Company paneled law firm. Improvement:&nbsp; - Reducing the debt collection period. People: - Maintaining good relations with the client/broker and ensure smooth coordination with marketing dept for ultimate customer satisfaction. Other Commercial Activities:&nbsp; - Assisting the Finance dept with quarterly closing activities and preparing the statements and schedules as and when required. Skills &amp; Competencies Required: - Excellent soft skills and effective writing skills. - Excellent knowledge of MS office and advance level of excels Desirable: - Fair knowledge of programming languages like MS access.
